I wouldn't go right ahead and say your dream is dead. You just have to be patient and know how to spot a deal when you see one. Hell, I was able to get my turbo, ECU and exhaust manifold for about $500. I can guarantee you that all the parts for my build did not add up to more than $2000 (note that this does not include the purchase and installation of my clutch and flywheel). It's funny because it is hard for me to point oout parts on my car that were not previously used. I just waited and waited until a good deal presented itself and then I jumped on it.kableguy said:allllrighty then, question ANSWERED, the dream is dead!!! for now. But this just means im going to get that cash and do a supercharger build and do it right. i cant wait, i wish money grew on trees

Yep, I just didn't want to say that myself. But you won't necessarily lose our A/C - it just depends upon what type of supercharger you go with. But yes, this is no direct kit for the Protege...GhostMercury said:crushing another dream of yours lol. THERE IS NO SUPERCHARGER FOR THE PROTEGE. there was only one made and it wasn;t mass produced. also you have to loose your ac to install it!!
