    Tint and Wheels :)

Nice looking car. Since you already covered the wheel issue I'll move onto the rack...Being an outdoor kinda guy, I think it looks fine. Of course adding a wind fairing may clean it up a bit. ~Matt

    Header prob after 10k miles

An update... I decided to go ahead and pick up my car w/out Mazda repairing the CEL issue. I figured I'd take a look at the foulers to see if they need some cleaning, and if push comes to shove I'll order the part and replace it myself (it'll save me $150). I talked w/ the technician working...

    Header prob after 10k miles

Thanks for the responses...keep em' coming. Anyone know if they can test the sensor specifically? And once again, how do I clear the CEL should I choose to clean/replace the sensor myself? Matt

    Header prob after 10k miles

After searching 13+ pages of threads with no answer I decided to start my own thread. A little history: Last week: Car was stalling, had to keep revs above 2500rpm to prevent. CEL on/off periodically--FIX: EGR valve replaced. Car drives fine (In retrospect I should have tried cleaning it...

    OBX header throwing CEL

I don't have any experience with the MIL eliminator fix, however I recommend trying the spark plug anti-fouler fix. I've had this on for a few thousand miles w/out any issues. If you don't want to try the later perhaps try reinstalling the MIL eliminator (i.e. perhaps you have a bad part)...

    Sore arms... Just made rank

Leppy, Congratulations! I started smiling when I read the thread title. You said your a/c maint. I'm guessing on the Buffs given your location. Am I right? A guy over here at Osan just made Staff so I had the priveledge of making sure his new rank stayed on. Congrats again.

    P5 noob

Welcome....I recommend the RB cat-back for the P5. Doesn't have the droning issue, has a great sound, and adds a bit of power. Don't get me wrong the MS exhaust sounds nice around town but I drove my friends P5 w/ MS and it was a little too noticeable for me at speed. If you want to hear the...

    jet-hot coating

Dimitrios, if you don't mind me asking, how much did those studs run you? Also, I know you said we could try a longer size but would you recommend this? Finally, why did you only replace the two middle studs? That last question may be stupid, but since I'm in Korea and my car is in Maryland I...

    Header GB notification only!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT MOVE. NOTIFICATION ONLY. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS THREAD. Hopefully this is appropriate. I'm only trying to increase awareness. Captain KRM P5 is running a GB for an OBX header in the GB section. The only reason that I'm posting this little thread is to notify more people...

    wheel hop

Tires expand with cold air? Explain that. I was pretty sure that they deflate and expand when hot. I will agree however that tires do not grip as well when cold. Am I mistaken?

OBX 4-1 and a sportshift AT

yourfather luke, do you mind if I ask a quick question? What MIL eliminator option did you run? I am planning on adding a header pretty soon and just want to see what people are doing. Lastly, how's the sound, much louder or just noticeable? Of course I'm running an Injen intake and RB...

MSP Shifter in my Protege5 = RAD!!!

One quick thing that I was noticing. It appears that the MSP shifter while shorter in overall length than the P5 shifter, is the same length when comparing the distance of the "pivot ball" to the undercar linkage. Clearly this is going to shorten your throw some, but you could have essentially...

    I Enlisted Today!

Da 6, I'm in the 621st ACS which is obviously under the 7th. The BX just opened up a little before Thanksgiving. The thing is sweet!! The main base lodging is only a few years old and there are new dorms being built like crazy. The new airman dorms are great seeing as they won't have to...

    I Enlisted Today!

Congratulations! Thanks for doing your part. I myself will testify that the Korean soju will mess you up. As a 1Lt in the AF currently stationed in Korea I have had many a good/bad night. Best of luck and thanks again. ~Matt

    Ski Rack Questions

Hey man Merry Christmas and good job on the great present. If you don't have the factory rack then you are severly limited on the options available for racks. I will assure you that if you install the rack correctly and tightly then you are at very little risk of scratching your paint. I used...

    Beat a 911 Turbo!!

The R6 is a great bike. I picked up a 01' R6 a few months ago. In regards to other bikes I would say Yamaha/Suzuki, Honda, and then Kawi. I think Kawi are on the up and up but not quite there yet. No offense to anyone though. When it's time for a new bike I don't know if I'll go Yamaha or...

    Headlight protection

Stongard has it. I think it's www.stongard.com Do a search and it'll pop up. I have the covers for my fogs and am thinking of getting it for the main beams. Can't even tell it's on the lights and it's bomb-proof. Matt

2 Blue MP3's spotted in Panama City Beach

I was out at Spinnaker's on Friday (7 March) night and spotted two blue MP3's in the parking lot. I know one of them had Quebec plates and I didn't check the other's out. Just wanted to see if anyone on this board was enjoying the Spring Break Festivities in PCB, FL. ~Matt

    Stongard products

Does anyone have the Stongard covers for the fog lights and for the headlights? I just received the incorrect fog light covers and when I went out to look at my lights one of them is cracked. I'm thinking, should I just order the full light protection when I fix the order? I'm not too worried...
