I've seen a lot of folks do krylon type stuff and I don't think it's worth it. It'll look really good if it's done by a real paint gun and real automotive paint. Don't forget to primer!

hope it comes out ok. you might wanna hit up your local high-end stereo shop to see if anybody there does CF work. Might fit better than a cardboard template, but that's just a speculation.

^^that's a fair argument, just a conclusion i made based on the steps he took. hawk pads are real nice, should give those a try. noisy as hell, though.

no matter how much you fill it, make sure you check the level if it's got a stick.

do you have any stock pads to compare with? you can take your pads to the dealership, go to their parts dept, and just ask to see the stock pads. they should be ok with that... since you have a caliper piston compression tool, it sounds like you know what you're doing.

the rear s2000 rims fit almost nothing else than an s2000. edit; the fronts fit a lot of other cars, dunno about proteges. they fit civics with 5-lug conversions, preludes, type Rs, etc. that's why the front rims are worth so much more on the used parts market.

I'm glad i don't think drifting is cool anymore...
