So i just replaced my intake manifold and for the life of me I cannot find where the wire is that connects to the EGR sensor. And of course the CEL is now on and it is getting annoying. I would appreciate any help.

I have been pondering what hood to get and finally found the one I want. The Xcelerated Concepts RC reverse cowl carbon fiber hood. Unfortunately I can't find any. All the posts about them end around the year 2010 and then the trail goes cold. Does anyone know where to find one of these?

Yeah I went from 6 psi to 8 psi.

I've had mine installed for about a day and no CEL. I don't have the sensor plugged into the egr and remember if there was even one or not. The Gaines on this is awesome.

The car wouldn't run long enough for me to get a vac reading. I took the throttle body off and turns out I somehow missed a piece of old gasket and on top of that I didn't get a good enough amount of RTV in the same spot. I got it apart and cleaned it up and put new RTV on. Just waiting for it...

Good news is the adapter worked perfectly. Bad news is I have a huge vac leak coming from the throttle body seeing how there is a loud whistling coming from that area.

What about the egr connection to the exhaust. Is that the wrong size or do I just have something crazy going on?

and seeing how I'm bombing this thread anyways; when you plug the VICS and VTCS solenoids in do you need to run vac lines to them?

Ok from what i have seen from everyones pictures is they have what looks like an adapter that hooks up to the EGR hose to the exhaust manifold kinda like the intake side has an adapter.

As long as I don't get a vacuum leak I will do that. I'm not worried about a CEL. I can fix that later.

Besides getting this fixed which is number one priority. Can I just block off the exhaust like Walt did and leave the hose unattached without any problems? I really need my car.
