How to insert 60mm gauges in center console vents

Thanks for the writeup. I have a question. How much does the loss of the center vents hurt the HVAC's effectiveness? Does it seem like the blower motor is struggling to push air through only two vents?

Sounds to good to be true?

Well, the numbers spit out by a chassis dyno aren't actually "hard" numbers anyway. Chassis dynos vary wildly between manufacturer to manufacturer and sometimes even dyno to dyno from the same manufacturer. They are best when you are trying to get comparisons utilizing the same machine over...

NRG Grounding Wire System, should i bother?

Aw come on man, you could wrap it in colored electrical tape. LOL.

NRG Grounding Wire System, should i bother?

I stand by what I said: waste of money. And I can back that up with years of formal education and professional experience engineering digital electric circuits. You could do the same thing with baling wire, or anything else conductive for that matter.

NRG Grounding Wire System, should i bother?

I could see how something like this could help audio clarity and reduce noise. It wouldn't do a damn thing toward engine performance in a digital electronic system like our cars have. They are using the same logic BestBuy uses to try and sell you a $100 shielded HDMI cable for your TV when a...

    rim paint

You're probably SOL. Aircraft remover would take all of the paint off. You *might* (and this will sound weird) try brake fluid. I know it eats through spray paint like crazy. I have accidentally splashed it on a wheel before to no ill effect. It is worth a try on a small unobtrusive spot...

Can changing just the wheels cause an alignment problem?

Have them check the alignment before you have them do it. My local Goodyear will check it for free and then charge you to fix it. Yours should do the same if it is reputable. There is no sense in paying for an alignment if it is already in spec. Mine is in spec and wears the outer edge too.

    Spark plug torque?

Go with what is recommended. You only need it tight enough that it isn't going to back itself out, but not so tight that you risk stripping the threads. I think with an Aluminum head you'd be safe between 7 and 14lb-ft.

Or you could go for a FMIC.

    What kind of oil/gas?

These cars need high octane fuel. Running 87 causes the fuel/air to predetonate. With 87, the ECU significantly retards the timing (killing power and milage) to prevent you from blowing up your engine. You can run 87 in a pinch, but it is definitely not recommended. I run whatever full...

    Best gas mileage I've ever had . . .

Well, in my MSP6 I'm lucky to break 20mpg...... 24.6mpg is pretty good. I've squeeked 26mpg by driving like a granny. Translation for the Canuck: Well, in my MSP6 I'm lucky to break 11.6L/100km...... 9.55L/100km is pretty good. I've squeeked 9.0 by driving like a granny ey? I'm bored at...

    Best gas mileage I've ever had . . .

Translation for all of us Americans: Driving on the highway I set the cruise control @ 77 mph (I'm in the cold white country to the north) . . . travelled approx 373 miles (there & back, uphill both ways) and got my best gas mileage (is their such a word as "kilometerage"??? (metric system...

Pretty well. You have to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol first. Any wax residue will make it fall off.

Wash it in the shade and dry it off with a towel.

    window Visors

I'm sure it would. The MS6 shares just about everything but the hood with the M6. The only place you might run into a problem is the front near the mirrors, but that is doubtful.
