Show me your CX-5 wheels

Thx for the honest feedback, braddah. I was pretty much sold on the springs after I saw your stance. But I don't want my fillings dropping out over every bump.

It's very sensitive. But the look is mean. Maybe if u can get new shocks/struts it would be fine but it sucks hitting pot holes. It's like hitting a speed bump at 30mph

I saw font selling some BC coil overs for like $999 or something.. I was looking at those. Form what I saw on the maz3 forum people on bc's don't seem to have many issues. Although I did like those teins with the electronic damper control, but that's like another $400.

Thanks for the plug Chris. Here's the LINK. Send me a PM and ask me for best price.

I haven't been very impressed with the stock Toyo's on the GT. This will be my next tire: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...&autoModel=CX-5&autoModClar=Grand Touring FWD

I had some Conti ExtremeContact DW tires on my 328i and those things were amazing, especially in the wet. Seems to be the same story for these based on Tire Rack's testing.

The tire wear is even, and they're rotated every 7500, which coincides with the service Passport. They're not bald or anything, just wearing down. FWIW, I do drive like an a**hole about half the time. :)

Looks like a fair amount of tread to me. Are you sure you're not just looking for an excuse to spend a grand on rubber?

Yes you are right they are worn and right at replacement. Their are people that don't care about the safety of their passengers or other drivers and replace only when bald and steel belts are showing. Replacement is recommended between 3/32 - 5/32 of tread depth which is shown when "wear bar/indicator" is flush with tread(the little bars in between tread). At this point your tires can't evac water and risk hydroplaning or loss of traction in wet/snowy conditions. My Toyos are right about the same at 20,000 miles but I also drive aggressive often. 😈 may drop this ute for a 15 golf R in December..

Well, at least your honest[emoji86] (lol2). I'm rotating mine every 3,000. We'll see if that helps any with longevity. But, also I don't drive like an A-hole (anymore [emoji85]), and I'm FWD.
