Mental Addiction goes 12's

For those that have not seen it yet, PDHaudio83(Pat) car went 12.788@ 112.68 at 16psi.
Here is what he's running:
Mental Addiction Sleeper turbo kit @ 16psi
Mental Addiction built engine(shortblock)
Spec stage 3
Haltech E6X
440cc injectors
Pictures of his car can be found here:

Time slip

This was done on Hoosier Drag radials and with a good driver. 112.68mph is good for a low 11sec run with the right traction components.

Awesome Pat!! Don't forget to send me your map so I can have a good base map to start from when I re-tune my car!

You just set the bar now. I wanna see the "right traction components" next on the list.

Good Job by all!

well I can tell you the suspension setup Pat has, since I installed it... its my old Ground Control coilovers (stiff ass mothers) on stock Tokico struts. lowered pretty much all the way down they go.

stock MP3 alignment. and the aforementioned Hoosier DR's... I too would love to know if these are off the shelf DR's and what size they are... cause they obviously work well

The only ones they make we could use are the 225/50/15's and the 225/50/16's.

I've heard alot of good things about them though.

i really doubt that a fwd car will ever go low 11s on a 112 trap, mustangs dont even do that. that would have to be a low 1.2 60ft. and 112 i see mustangs going low 12s
awsome pass tho

Yeah a mid 12 would be more fesible with that trap speed with a fwd turbo car.

just to confirm it was a 225/50 15 Hoosier used... and not the 16"

certainly good results

I dunno about lock rings, but stock MP3 axles, and open diff.... crazy huh? I personally give them a couple more runs before they snap like toothpicks

Just for comparison, I know of a fOCUS that does an 11.6 @ 116mph with a 1.6 60'. However, it is RWD.......(shrug)

im sure they have alot of suspension and 4mph is alot... and rwd

yea if he keeps running slicks like that they will for sure snap.

was he running a dual stage boost controller or anything that? otherwise that driver has some good throttle control or something.

I am sure its just a good driver... because even though Pat has a boost controller, his WG is set to 14-15, so he isn't raising it by much. so there is no leeway for dual stage.

is the acuator rod set at the lowest? or is that just how he wants it set?

If its not you could just set the rod and run a dual stage easily.
