+1 checking your oil often is key, make it a habit.

treat it like a normal piston engine for oil changes, but use mineral based oils (read- no synthetics), so 3k is a good number to stick to. check your oil level every time you top off the gas. Depending on your driving style, you may use more or less oil per mile... so you may find yourself adding oil... or you may not.

Well I drive kinda like a grandma, I dont like to drive my cars hard. Maybe once in a while and thats it.

Leaving at 5am tomm, 5 1/2 hour drive down to plano, TX.

when you get the FC, drive it hard....the engine needs to see high revs often, thats what its made for. If you baby it you'll just build carbon and kill the engine.
