Not exactly. That is for better acceleration, higher rpms. Dang, I guess there isn't a gear swap available to make the 5th gear taller (less than .755).

When I rebuilt my tranny in my old car, Datsun 510 and it had something like a 200SX tranny it in, I would be impossible to just switch one gear, and I'm not sure about changing all of the ratios. Of course, this was a really old tranny, around 1977, so things have probably changed a lot since then.
