Not sure if this swap is still getting any serious consideration, but I figure I'd add my two cents.
My buddy used to have a 2010 mz3 with the 6-speed. Those transmissions are not meant to handle any kind of power. His car made 165 hp, and his syncros were going bad at 35k miles. He was very experienced at driving stick, and after further research a lot of mz3 owners were having the same trouble with grinding into 2nd and 3rd. There is zero aftermarket for the trans, and he contacted PAR about the possibility of upgraded syncros and gears. They said they had something in planning but it didn't seem overly promising and they stopped responding after a while. As much as I'd love to have a 6-speed in my MSP, my gut tells me that this transmission wouldn't be in anyone's best interest - especially considering the effort it would take.
