Dude, DIY!!! Just go to a Pep Boys or other Auto shop and buy a filter wrench. But get the "end cap" style that goes on the end of the filter and your wrench attaches into it, as stated above. BUT....make SURE its made of METAL!!! Steel preferably cause plastic will simply not cut it. the part...

raced an integra gsr and 5.0 lx

Ford finally remedied the problems (low hp and such) of the 4.6L modular engine(s) like a year or two ago. pretty ridiculous if you ask me tha tit took them more than 2 years to get what they had out of the old 5L engine. The continued to use that engine (and i think still do) down under in the...

    Connecting Rods

Ti is more heat resistant than steel and weighs a lot less but its expensive to make, I believe T6 aluminium is the top of the line stuff and although its not quite a strong as Ti, its a lot lighter. The benefit of Ti is that it allows for the strength of steel in a hi-temp condition, with the...

    CAI Problem: IAT

Wait a sec...the altenator uses the IAT to tell it how much voltage to put out? i dont know who told you that but, they were definetely wrong! the IAT stands for Intake Air Temperature Sensor and all it does is, provide constant air temp. to the ECU and compensate for with either more or less...

would y'all buy a custom shorty header?

no you dont need to relocate the O2 sensor and it will have an EGR of course. And to those who think these headers suck, theyre better than nothing for those of us who have to live in emmission areas. Down the road we "might" make a 4-1 or 4-2-1. But most likely not for a while. We are really...

would y'all buy a custom shorty header?

A friend and I are going to start pre-production (prototype) on a shorty header for the FS-DE engines that retains the stock cat. we will be making it out of 304 stainless and it will have the EGR and O2 bungs welded in. But, before we do this, i need a poll of how many of you would consider...
