Got some new gear on the way. Including a Minolta MD 35-70mm f3.5 Macro. Jackpot!
For those unfamiliar with this lens... It is remarkably sharp for a zoom. Leica even adopted the design and re-branded it with the Leica Vario-Elmar name.

Anyone have experience with lens/body adapters? I found an adapter ring/plate that would allow me to use my plethora of K1000 lenses on my Nikon body. Is there a substantial loss in image quality?
