Wires I went Sparkco - decent for ther money. All I have on my car (mod-wise) is Sparkco wires, NGK Iridium IX plugs (if you consider that a mod) and a grounding kit - the car is impossibly quiet during idling...

NGK Iridum IX. I put them in at 25,000 - seems very decent.

Peanut butter is the best - but if you are in a hurry - 3M Wax Remover. Than make sure you protect that plastic with Mother's Back to Black or similar.

seth, From what I understand, even K&N doesn't filter nearly as good as stock. I don't want to waste another $30 (or more if I can't figure out which filter to get) only to do further damage to my engine....

True enough...though w/ no local auto shops carrying a K&N conical that will fit on my intake, and not willing to guess on dimensions w/o visual confirmation. Won't oil harm the probably cheap BOMZ imitation filter? Or can I directly oil that?
