BOMZ / Ebay intake warning

Just a little warning - when I removed my BOMZ intake, I noticed quite a bit of dust inside. This made me a little worried about what this intake was allowing thru and allowing to get to my engine (which may explain the recent oil filter failure I had).

This may be solved with oiling the filter, but just a warning - they may sound good and be cheap - but they may be casuing damage.

Piping wouldn't affect that much, but what type of filter was on the end of it?

The one that came with the intake...

I'd recommend either oiling it or getting a K&N.
