Ya. I would double check all your connections at the steering column. I don't think it is the DNA module but you could check that you reprogrammed the immobilizer correctly that could be an issue

Reverse in the driveway and the hood sensor should be then pointed down. Then see if your issue pops up again. At least that will isolate the hood safety switch as the problem or not

Check engine light flash is always misfire. Definitely ignition related and the more you drive it like that the worse your engine and catalytic is going to get. Get it fixed ASAP
