What have you done to your CX-5 today?

You are right guys! After looking at the rear pictures, yeah it's Mazda 2.

Newly acquired 17 SWP CX-5 grand touring my mods list so far, 20" wheels/tires, 20% Suntek carbon tint, Xpel ultimate clear bra, diy side panel stripes, LED interior lighting upgrade, disable DRL, custom door sills, front license relocator.

I'm curious if this picture shows it only covers the front bumper. The bumper looks looks just slightly off white from the fender.
How much Xpel coverage did you get and how good was the coverage?

We just bought a red CX-5 and we're going to get this. It's expensive, so we're just weighing cost vs coverage vs quality of coverage...

- Do you have any close up pictures of the extent of the coverage? More specifically, where coverage ends.

- Was there any protection applied to the chrome around the bottom of the grill, or was only the red covered?
It's not clear from the cut pattern.

Thank you!
Great looking truck! We test drove a white one and loved the color. Great choice!

Suntek CXP tint 35% all around (including over the factory privacy glass). HUGE difference in interior temps. Very pleased.

Took my little one to the parent teacher night at school and there was no parking nearby so have to park on the grass and just happen to snap a picture of the car at sunset.

Hello everyone! New member here. I picked up my CX-5 GT over a month ago and have done some subtle aesthetic mods to it since then. Mostly applying 3M 1080 matte black vinyl to the window trim. Matte black tint to the third brake light. LED upgrade to my interior (ebay kit) and exterior lighting. Finally found a built-in resistor LED bulb from iJDMtoy that fit in the housing with no problem. The rear pic shows incandescent (left) versus LED (right). Been really liking the new model and materials used throughout. It feels very well built and solid for the value. It's complimented my transition into fatherhood very well. Hope you like the pics.

Parked in the grass. I don't know why photos on grass look so much better to me! LOL

WOW, dayam,, that looks sexy, that's the way Mazda should have designed it, still don't understand why they went with the half chromed window design. yours look much better

From what I read it's supposed to make the roof look lower. Maybe but I'm not a fan of chrome.

Love the black vinyl over the chrome! Been thinking of doing that myself, you may have just pushed me over the edge. Any tips on doing it?

Thanks guys! Clean the surfaces really good with 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water. And patience. Take your time to follow the gaps where the cuts need to be made. Use the straight edge of the vinyl to go along the top edges for a cleaner look so no chrome shows. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to adhere it better, and to present any air bubbles that might be lurking.

Still waiting for the mirror cover so I can get it into the body shop. Supposedly the cover is coming from California. Its been two weeks today since they wrote estimate and they are telling me it will be at least a week if not two before they get it in hand. Time to see if I can get it faster.
