What cleans better?

I need something that will clean off double sided tape better then goof off

Yeah that seems to be the winner I'm going and hitting it every few mins and slowly making progress

I was kinda just being a wise guy. What I find that works is to park the car in the sun and let the sun warm up the tape or adhesive and then use goo gone on it.

what kind of surface is it on?

nail polish remover works well, but you have to be careful on what surfaces you use it on...the alcohol, like Cue said, works really well too - breaks down the glue quickly....

If you can find it at a parts house, 3M Adhesive Remover is #1, made specifically for stuff like that. also cleans road dtart and bug funk off without harming paint

I used 3M general adhesive remover and 3M citurs adhesive remover. The citrus is better.

I also nabbed one of the wife's Pampered Chef scrapers. A nice, plastic putty knife is helpful put the PC scrapers are a perfect size.
