pull or flare?

i have a 2000 protege and i just picked up 16x8.25 wheels, but every time i hit a bump, i rub the rear tires. does anyone know if i should flare them or if just pulling works? if flaring, what would be the best flare? Thank you

It depends...but it sounds like you just need to roll/pull your fenders. I wouldn't put fender flares on your car unless you're gonna run a very low offset (between 25mm-0mm) to where the tires are poking out past the body by 2-4in.

what is the offset? what kind of camber are you running in the back? need more information...

Im still running the stock +50mm Offset no camber. I have some 5Zigen wheels that im working on though that are 17x8 with a +35mm offset. Heres a pic of it.. on the left is the 17x8 and on the right is the stock wheels

The fender flares off of a na miata should certainly fit with a little trimming
