2013-2016 CX-5 Painted Fender Flares

Has anyone PTM their fender flares or painted them piano black on the 2013-2016s? I have a gray 2016 GT and i'm contemplating whether or not I should paint them.

A CX-30 owner has done this, they had their fenders painted white to match their paint. It's certainly doable, the shop would just need to prep the fender guards accordingly and it should turn out just fine.

I was finally able to find a picture! I personally wouldn't paint everything white, but more power to this owner.
