My New Mazda3

My new Copper Mazda bought in June. Havent really done too much to it but heres what I did:

Tint
Pinstriping (freehand paint)
New Wheels and Tires (Kumho)
Alpine CDA-9815 CD/MP3 HU,
Boston Acoustics RX87 5"x7" Coaxial Speakers-rear,
Boston Acoustics FS80 5"x7" Component System-front,
JL Audio 250/1 Amp,
JL Audio 300/4 Amp,
Alpine SBR-122CR 12" Compound Reflex Subwoofer Box

Thats about it for this summer.

Though I have bought into the current gunmetal finish wheels trend, and would do that to my white, I really like the silver wheels on your CR.
The striping looks good too.
Time for an exhaust... and paint those calipers. I couldn't tell you exactly why, but BLUE comes to mind

hand painted pinstripe? did you do that yourself? If so, that's amazing talent! I'm not usualyl a fan of pinstriping but it flows well with the car and doesn't stand out a ton. bravo!

He's local and does a lot of race cars, he's been doing this for years. And yes, he uses no taping at all, its all done freehand.

no fitment issues at all. matter of fact, probably the best fitment for our cars with the 50mm offset of the RX8 wheels. i've got the sportline kit and have zero rubbing.

you have stock rx-8 tires as well or are they lower profile?

mine are stock rx-8 rims and tires (235-45r18) and it really looks that if i put the h-techs on, there's gonna be rubbing

i think i need to go lower profile anyway, as the gearing ratios have changed now (+2 overall) and my car is *STUPIDLY* slower on launch now, and i'm getting worse gas mileage

i mighta screwed up here by putting them on...

Way wrong tire size dude. 225/40/18 = same as stock 17 wheel tire combo.
