just traded a 2008 Miata (20k miles) for a CX-5. (wife is getting too old to fall in and crawl out of the MX-5)...
I went with the AWD and the one on the lot came with the moon-roof / bose audio and wheel locks(!)...
Just wanted to say howdy. . . and read / catch-up on any known issues.

I can't help but think, it must be a little sad to see the 2008 Miata leave the family.

Congrats , just traded in my 2014 BMW 228 Msport , Manual for a 2016 CX-5 GT AWD. Same reason as you except it was my old bones that were having a hard time getting in and out of it. Don't regret the trade a bit. Youll love your CX-5

Yes, the aging Miata owner syndrome is a real problem. I think Mazda could rectify this by making a Mazda6 Convertible available.
