Unfortunately, the I'm with Marlon t-shirt didn't help. They said they were still full so I couldn't race. Luckily, this wasn't a big deal because it rained ALLLLL day Saturday. So I would not have had as much fun driving on a slippery track lol. I took A LOT of videos and got some good ones of cars spinning off course and amazing drivers spinning out, but making crazy recoveries.
I took a picture of my car now that I have the BC coils. I would say I'm moderately low, but still functional lol

Just sign up earliy for the next event. There is a Track Daze @ VIR on May 5th & 6th in which Mike Skeen and Tom Long will be offering up additional coaching on the full track. I may be headed up there, depending on my schedule.

Ya, I love my Galaxy Nexus. Shooting panoramic photos is ridiculously easy too. You just aim and slowly pan from left to right. The software then pieces it together for you and does a really good job making it look like 1 picture. Technology these days is amazing.
I can also shoot 1080p video. I'll have to upload some of the videos I took. I gotta figure a way to mount my phone and record while running HPDE. That way I don't have to buy a GoPro

O damn...ya then I did see him hit the wall
Anyone know if he's all right? He spun and hit the wall on the right at the braking zone coming out of the back straight (right before the madness section). The ambulance came and I believe he rode off the track in it. It looked like he was walking though.

he said he's fine, and that the car will need some work. haven't seen pics though, also said he didn't have rain tires on
That's good that he's ok. It looked like it was damage to the front corner of the car. They couldn't turn the wheels straight when putting it on the flat bed tow truck. I had just stopped recording a minute or 2 before he crashed. Hopefully it's not too expensive to fix.

Sounds like suspension damage, probably more damage than is visible.visible

Hey guys. I had a braking problem, ABS went out and Right Rear tired stuck and spun me into the wall. I'm fine. The car is in pretty bad shape though. All the damage is in the front end. We're gonna try and fix it, but Red Racer is done for the season. I picked up a Spec Miata and will be switching classes.
We'll be wrenching all day Sunday to take off the broken pieces if anyone wants to stop by and have some beers and laughs.
