More Effects of Xede-ification

Courtesy of Nutari. He says: "Need to get another base run done. i lost the file. Base run was about 240whp and 260~tq." From CaptainKRM's post, it looks like these were done with the ETS TMIC on,but I will edit and update when Nutari clarifies.

Bean, I wanted to add that the run below did include one mod the owner mentioned later: a K&N drop-in. We didn't think much of it then, but given the effects we're seeing from leaning the A/F ratio, it might have had a significant effect.

I have my Dyno results:

I will be getting the file via email tomorrow, so I can post more data then. For now, here are the raw numbers:

Max Power = 257.4
Max Torque = 271.9

@ 4.65 RPMS, A/F = 11.3

I just dynoed my 08 mp3 and with only 650miles, and the only mod being a test pipe the car made 260whp 298ftlbs. Boost gauge was reading 13psi falling to 5psi at redline. Im very happy with these numbers. Ill post the graph later.

Why is there a discrepant difference between all these results...?
213HP....249HP...259HP...etc... Are people pulling in different gears?

There should be some HP loss due to drivetrain... but 213HP from a 263HP rated engine...? Isn't that a little excessive? I would have imagine no more than a 30HP loss...

just the mazdaspeed cai hood closed 4th gear pull 70f

Good job and nice numbers. I wonder what it would have done stock on this dyno? What is the v1?

what gear?

Ps. I just noticed the runs were done on std. Those numbers are pretty low for standard. If you would have done sae the numbers would be about 10whp less. I wonder why they did that?

4th gear, V1= radar detector... (naughty)

Apparently this dyno is kinda low reading. Randy will vouch for that, which you've probably talked to him by now about today... lol. I was hoping for 250/280 so I'm happy.

Well just as long as your using it for a tuning tool and to see your gains then it doesnt really matter what the numbers are. THE GAINS ARE WHAT MATTER. All I know is my car picked up 70whp with just, intake, bc, and testpipe. Now thats gains. LOL
