Mazda paint pen colour doesn't match

I have a paint pen for my 2014 CX5 that is supposedly for my car but the paint seem to be a noticably lighter shade. I went another dealer to ask what they had in stock for my car and it was the same as the one I had. Anyone have issues with the colour matching?


2014 MAzda CX-5. Silver. The code on the door and from the VIN says 38P.
Paint pen is labelled as, 0000-88-0164-38P Aluminum Effect.

You have a 2014. You are putting fresh paint on the car. Of course there will be a difference because of sun exposure to the car.
