And I have not been able to test these ideas..........
1st Off if you just want to hook up some subs you can........
Get a Line Out Put Converter.
What you do is splice the wire to a speaker and run this with it. The LOC will give you RCA jacks so you can run an amp.
If you dont like the Factory head unit you could do this.....
And I know this may be kinda Ghetto or could be a bad spot but this is an idea..........
You can get an after market head unit and put it in your center councel and run all your wires to it. I dont know if the wires are marked the same as after market head units so it may be kina hard but not to bad. You then could run what ever you please!https://www.ebay.com (commissions earned)
