iPod input does not work

Where the heck did you guys stash all the cable and the switch box? I just wasted half an hour trying to cram it back in, trying all sorts of things. .I can't even get the stereo to go back without the switch box/extra cables in there.

The way Mazda's install instructions read is the switch box is mounted to the vertical support between the HU and the glovebox on the glovebox side of the support. Basically you have to take the glovebox out and install the switchbox.

Alternately you could put it in the big open space under the lighter section and run the wires up.... whichever floats your boat. I have a pdf of the install instructions if you want to see how mazda does it. Just pm me with your e-mail address.
