Engine Bay Pics

the question is....why not keep it on? it has so much more aethetic appeal than looking at a huge empty spot where you wish a turbo sat. i would rather keep it in for better looks and a bit of more efficiency in air flow...

some crazy lens flare

that "little bit of more efficiency" would be like saying i took mine off for wieght reduction. its all about personal preferrence. i think it looks stoopid others like it (dunno)

FWIW, theres a rather long thread in the photo/video section called 'current engine bay pics' or something like that, tons of pics there.

haha never thought about the lightweight. but i DO see what your saying about showing off them headers. i guess if i did have one it would be a different story...

paint your heat sheild and show it off.. a big black plastic piece doing nothing is sorta cluttering the engine bay

thats the one i wanted but i was late on the reply so i ended up with this one for 170 which i couldn't pass up

brand new the thunder header from the same guy also brand new went for 220 which was also a steal

I'd give the thread some turbo p5 love.. but she's so injured right now

maybe I'll post a pic of the rental car's plasticy engine bay.. ecotec for the lose.

Here's mine:

K&N Typhoon Intake, & OBX Header
One day I want to do a 1.8 coil swap and powdercoat my valve cover the same color as the strut bar.

Don't mind the dirt and disconnected EGR, it's clean and hooked up now.
