Cobb Turbo Inlet Install & Review

no the new turbo inlet pipe replaces the stock plastic piece. they are both the same length. my cai didnt move at all

Depends on your CAI / inlet. I installed the CPE inlet on my injen CAI and it increased the length of my CAI by 2 inches which was long enough to make ligning up the bracket very difficult. The reason for the increase in length was because of the supplied metal "coupler" that they use to unite the inlet with a generic intake. Not sure if the cobb piece has this but it probably does.

I'll be installing my Cobb TIP this weekend.....is it an absolute necessity to pressure test the system?
