Blue icons on navi screen, what are they

While driving my wife's 2018 CX5 in navigation mode, several blue icons appeared on the map screen? I have read the navigation manual and could not find any reference to these icons. Any help would be appreciated .

Points of interest. You can decide if you want to see those in Settings. You really need to go over those settings with a fine tooth comb. A lot of good stuff in there.
One thing I recommend is the setting to only show freeway exit information when the menu is up. This gives you full screen Navi and any time you need exit info just tap the knob to bring the menu up.
I can give the exact steps if you can't figure it out. Great feature.
