Could this be my MAF going out? My car today all the sudden started really struggling between 2k and up when i accelerate. It, at the same time, threw a CEL, which i will take up to autozone for the code tomorrow. I just hope she makes it there.

Yup, it's your MAF or a huge leak somewhere. Try unplugging the MAF and see if it runs any better.

probably a p0171 same one i am still dealing with.. could be many many things...

bad wastegate, vacuum leak, spark plugs, 02 sensors, maf sensor, egr valve is dirty...
try cleaning the maf first, then check all your pipes and vacuum lines and make sure nothing is leaking

Well it turned out to be the ignition coils. Runs great now. Just thought I would post what the fix was. cheers.
