Thanks guys! San Francisco was absolutely awesome (my first time there). Great people, great food, great beer, and a TON of photo opportunities. It was a large city that didn't FEEL like a large city in the sense that I wasn't packed against a million other people. Was open and laid back. I liked it a lot. Took about 200 pictures while I was there, but posted up the best 40 or so that I got.

I should have rented a better lens for while I was there, but almost all of those were taken with my crappy 18-55mm. I don't think they came out TOO badly! BTW, I uploaded that panorama at full-res for anyone who wanted to check it out. Over 12,000 pixels across!

The local Mazda guys (MOCC) were really nice too. I've made a habit of meeting up with the "locals" while I'm out on vacation and they were generous enough to invite me along to a "Fender Rolling Party" over on the east side of the Bay. Not Yellow lugged my butt and equipment around and I got a couple interesting shots:

I agree about the pano shot...
I'm trying, but the weather is killing me (cant wait for summer), to do a large pano shot of the part of the city in which I live and then make a wallpaper out of it for my room.

I know. I thought about it, but wimped out and was kind of rushed when I took those. Not to mention that the files nearly caught my computer on fire processing them LOL. The originals are in RAW so I can do a "fakey" HDR pano. Maybe I'll give it a shot and see what it looks like.

I avoided the touristy stuff while I was there, but my next trip will include the Golden Gate and Alcatraz for sure...
 
great shots, i have been meaning to take a trip back into the city for a while now. for you next trip i recommend the palace of fine arts as well, you could spend hours there...
