Ya..these things are dope. Way brighter than my Silverstars and the light's got a tinge of purple in it since we're approaching that spectrum. Only problem I have are on wet roads. Lights don't show up as much. Street signs, lane indicators..etc...they just light up.

yea i put my 8000k's in yesterday, and dayummmm they are bright. Looks so nice now. I love watching them flicker on and warm up.

yeah i got 8500k. ur right about a hint of purple. The best upgrade. but i installed mines close to the fenders and i dont have a problem with them getting wet.

What are you talking about close to the fenders? The ballasts or the lights?
I didn't mean the ballasts getting wet or the bulbs. I just meant you can't see as much light on wet roads w/ the 8500k kit. My Silverstars were a bit better w/ the 4100k light temperature in the wet.

4300k would work better for the wet roads. I have that installed in the bike and it is very visable in any conditions.

I never noticed the wet road problem, fogs should help out with that though. I like where he installed them, never thought of taking the bumper off and hiding the igniter and ballast under the light fixture. I guess I just thought there was going to be a problem replacing parts so I left it in the engine bay.

Pictures don't do this kit justice, have to see it in person!!!
