And the biggest change probably happening to the interior.

Interesting. Interior looks like a big re-design, brought the infotainment up to date with their other models. The tweaks to the nose also bring it in-line with the lineup, but somehow make it look...younger? It's lost a bit of the restrained class of the previous. More brash and bold. Not bad though.

Now I really hope they took this opportunity to add more sound insulation.

The interior is a huge improvement, I wish I could have that in my 3. Looks better than what the luxury brands have been putting out, imo

Front looks pretty nice, if the rear at all looks like this : http://bestfamilycars2016.com/2015-mazda-6-review/ then I might trade in my 2014 6 for it hands down.

It is interesting to see how people differ on what they like. I have a 2014 Mazda6 Sport 6 speed manual, and, after just seeing all the pictures of the refresh from several websites, I wouldn't take an EVEN trade for the 2016! That is how much, IMO, I feel they messed up the interior and the front end. Again, IMO, I feel the rather understated interior in the 2014 is so much nicer looking than the 2016, with the "stuck-on" screen and the start button next to it. Also I don't care for the extra chrome on the front. IMO the car would look better with no chrome on the front, back, or sides, make all the present chrome black. I guess that is why everyone doesn't drive the same car.

anyone have details on the pricing and model configurations? I really wish they had a turbo or a 3.5 v6 option on this one. I love my 2014 6 but I am slowly starting to feel the need to buy a better powered car.

I talked to a guy who works in a dealership, he said there's no diesel coming for the 2016 version. However the rumors of a speed 3 and 6 are ramping up, there's something going on that front for 2017 if I heard things right. Also the 2016 M6 is 1% more expensive (coming from a dealership guy). I will trade mine in if they launch or at least announce a speed version in 2015 itself. Otherwise I may have to move out to a car with a better engine.

Also the Japanese website for Mazda claims they have a AWD and many more features in the new Atenza which I am not sure will transalte to the US version or not. Rear heated seats is one of them. http://www.atenza.mazda.co.jp/?bt=sedan

I hope the US website gets updated soon with this info.
