Just got our new baby saturday, a 2012 black mica mazdaspeed 3!!! i had to sell my mp3 to do it, but it was worth it. anybody else with a 2012 yet?

i believe the only difference other than some minor cosmetic (a chrome mazdaspeed trim plate on the rocker sill) would be the AFS headlamps option. i don't think that was an option previously but anyone please correct me if i'm wrong! what i would love to see is a USB port with ipod controls through the head unit. the wrx has it already!!
nice. after not being able to find a black one with the tech package, i thought about getting a 2011 red one that was available... i just feared the "cops pull over red cars more often" urban legend, lol. 11 speeding tickets in my first 10 years of driving (none in the last 5 years though while i mainly drove a truck), i don't need anything adding to my chances (burnout)
I doubt there will be an AWD option unless you have some insider information. Some of the changes include the blind spot monitoring system, replaced the silver center with flat black, replaced black/red pattern trim with silver on the dash, the information screen is blue instead of red, air vents can be closed in the center dash, leather parking brake cover, leather shifter and removed the silver ring. Of course there was the color swap; no more blue, but we now get white! There might be a few other minor things.
You can control your iPod over Bluetooth. With iOS 5 coming out soon it will add AVRCP 1.3 support so you'll be able to view the metadata (song, artist, album) information now over bluetooth. Of course, we'll have to wait until Tuesday to get the official word from Apple.

Sweet! But, during rush hour, there are spots on the Autobahn with posted speed limits. Oh and watch out for speed cameras, they are everywhere!

oh yea for sure!! my dad was stationed there from 00' until 09'. went to middle school and high school out there so i am most deff looking forward to it haha. im sure there is SOME type of radar detector to keep me from getting and SPEEDING tickets!! haha =]
I actually saw a radar detector at the Apple store that attaches to the iphone which supposedly detects radar, laser and photo. So you can listen to bluetooth audio and watch out for the popo.

NICE!!! i might just have to go get on it lol!! Im going to have to get a Jail broken iPhone when i get out there that way i can use it with T-Mobile and use the radar all at one time.
Crap... nevermind. It still doesn't pass over metadata to the information display, at least on an iPhone 4. Maybe the new iPhone 4S does, but we'll have to wait for someone to verify since I won't be getting one.
