So I went up tto the casino today and won some money. On my way back I was passing The Auto Specialist and decided to stop in. Found out a kid I knew worked there so he asked me if I wanted to test my system. Did it and hit 140.4 dB. This was done with my single 10" sub and amp. I'm pretty happy! D

you say you did this with a single 10 but your cardomain shows you have 2 12'2 whats the deal?

Its not impossible, no. I just wanted more details. Equipment? Ported/sealed? What tone or song was played? Where was the mic put? Cause while not impossible, 140 on a single 10 is pretty gnarly. I was running two RE SEXXX 12's in my mustang off a MTX 81000d and only pulled a 140. Were the windows down?
I need to meter the system in my mp5, Im running a Fosgate Power T1 15" in a box tuned to 32hz, running off the sub section of a Memphis Belle, so about 1100 watts RMS.

It is very possible. I have hit 147.8 DB on Term with two JL 12W6v2 powered by two 600 Watt Kicker Amps !

i hit a 140.3 with a 12 inch pioneer premere and a 500 watt kenwood amp

Long ago, I was told to stop after I hit 140 in a competition with 4 JBL GT2 10" subs in an iso-port and the original RF power 200 amps. . .man I miss that setup! But 140 is pretty darn good any way you slice it!

Pink Floyd song ... the begining of the song is just continuous low frequency, so the sub was going crazy and we couldnt hear anything but our jumping around in our heads

1st time i ever actually felt nauseous from music. it really did make me feel like i was going to throw up

Ah, glad you told me about that. The old 12's got stolen over the summer. This is what I replaced them with
