Airbag lights and passenger seatbelt light always on

A few weeks ago I got a "hand car wash". Inside and out, and immediately after both air bag lights stay on, and the passenger seatbelt notification system (the light and the beeping) remains active even when no one is sitting there. I have to keep the belt buckled so the noise doesn't bother me.

I called the dealership and they want $140 just to look at it. This all happened because of a car wash so I'm thinking there's gotta be a quick fix for this? If anyone knows a thing or can point me to a how to, I would greatly appreciate it!

It's a 2011 Mazda 2 Touring

I'm guessing there is a wiring harness for that connects to the seat that got unplugged or damaged while the detailed the interior.

agreed, sounds like the harness under the seat got disconnected, i would start there

Anyone spill a soda in your car thus the detail job? Under the center console is a control module, make sure nothing got into the plugs.
