is it 8awg wire? if so.. you should be sailing safe with that.

check all connections and make sure that NOTHING is lose and that there are little to ZERO bare wires... start in your engine bay with the fuse and wrap some electrical tape around it and move back toward the amp.. it could be any wire in the system causing the ground wire to heat up profoundly...

Made mine a not-so-rice box. Yes, this was the black and green protege5 that everyone so hated.

Did some more work today.. i must say, I'm really liken the whole shaved hatch idea, also fixed what was basically a hole in my bumper from an a**hole backing into it with a trailer.

thank you zhy, and yes they do carry some crazy rust... but the way that fender is fixed now it shouldn't bubble up anymore... its a complete fiberglass fender so the old rotten fender holds no more integrity.
