Well, if I can get the OEM in a fair price, I will go for that too. I emailed Canada's Mazda and no response. As for the eBay ones I have, the cover fits pretty well IMO and sticks well.

Mine is from eBay, they are stick-on. IMO, they are not bad at all. Have them on for few months already and my car is parked outside 24/7 under the california sun, no issue of fading or coming off so far ...

Yes, take it back to dealer for a free replacement. I experienced twice before already, after read few posts here, took the car for a cap replacement. The new one works perfectly.

Never put into the "carwash test", but the adhesive is very strong, so guess will pass the test :)

Me too, especially I was looking for the white GT with Navi "only" and nothing else, local dealers never have one, so end up order from SoCal and shipped up here to NorCal.

My other car also has HID and so easy to access and change, so I think you can change it definitely. Thing is just how to get to the opening that you can change the bulb, that's what stop me from changing those light bulbs on the M5, most of the front bulbs are so hard to get access to replace.

Finally decided to post some pics for my 5 bought in Aug 08, after just powder coated the oem rims. Thought about getting new rims, but the oem ones look good and to save money. ;)

Thanks for reply, I actually went thru step 1-3, and found hard to do the 4th steps (the hardest one) as indicated in the manual, thus started this thread. =( Guess I can only try again or removing the bumper. Speaking of removing the bumper, is there any instruction anywhere?

I have posted couple months ago and got no response and I cannot even locate that thread .... anyway, would like to see if anyone has experience to replace the turn signal which is inside the headlight housing. Followed the user manual instruction, but found it very hard to reach to the bulb...

Did you remove the whole headlight housing to install the bulb? If so, how did you remove it? Anywhere has the diagram show how? thx.

Hi, any one has replaced the front corner signal bulb? I got some silver/chrome looking signal bulb, but have hard time replacing them. Followed the manual and removed the four screws from wheel well try to reach in, but not that easy. Any tips? Anyway, mine is a 2008 model. Thx.

How about the side turn signal (the one on the side of the body)? Anybody changed that from the amber to silver like bulb too? Found out the bulb is integrated to the housing, as said in the manual, it needs to replace the whole thing if the bulb is out.
