I had a tire shop (Big 0) move the tires to the new wheels, rebalance them and rotate them so the worn inners (not worn bad, just a bit uneven) were on the outsides, on the opposite sides of the car so they still rotated the same direction.

The last car of mine that was in an accident had less damage to the front end and it was not nearly this bad, that one was $7k to fix. Not to mention the rear damage which looks pretty dang extensive to me, and not bolt on parts back there either. I will be real surprised if this is not...

I think my wife totaled it. From what she told me and my mad CSI skills after seeing the damage to the car, it appears that it unfolded like this... She had a sudden loss of pressure in the rear left tire that caused her to lose control and veer into a semi that was in the lane next to her...

I would love to but it's my wife's daily driver and I can't seem to get her to learn how to go up and down driveways correctly, she scrapes it even at stock height. (bang) If I dropped it I'd probably be out a front bumper inside of a week. Thanks for the nice comments, guys! :D

Well I finally decided that I can live with the wheels, it will be easier to sell the multi-pattern chrome ones that were on the car and I don't want to deal with finding another set anyways. I fixed the one with the borked bolts, got a new center cap and polished them up, so they look pretty...

I believe the 03 and 03.5s are the same one... I just need one, in good condition... Please let me know the price shipped to 93635.

I have a set of 03.5s that are in good shape, no curb rash, one chip that's about 1/4" long in one of them. They all have some tiny nicks around the bolt holes, but nothing you can see from more than a couple of feet away. The biggest problem is that one is missing a center cap and the bolts...

If you happen to have a spare center cap from your trashed wheel, I'd be interested in buying it...

My VW does the same thing - won't let you recirc through the defrost vents. It will let you send it through the floor vents by themselves though.

Well the wheels finally came in and I'm pissed, the guy said they were perfect and they are not. Lots of nicks and scratches and one of them is not only missing the center cap, but the bolts for it are broken off in the wheel.(rant) So, no pics until I get it sorted out.(dark)

Ditto on the sunshade issue. Pops off and on real easy though so it's a nonissue for us as well. :D

From what I understand, rotate your tires very often and you should be OK. I plan on rotating mine every time I change the oil, every 5k miles.

Which ones did you use? Did you do the headrests that already had the dvd players in them, or did you install them into the factory headrests? I want to do this, but I would like to get the complete headrests because teh factory ones are so small. I also want to make sure the fabric...

I think the main problem in the back is that it's nonadjustable from the factory. The front is adjustable, so it's likely not nearly as big of a deal. That's my basic understanding of it. I'm not familiar enough with the suspension design of the 5 to know if lowering will screw up the handling...
