Post pics of your Mazda5

Yeah, it's a 6 speed manual.

It's not weird to me, as that's the way it's always been.... would be weird for you though

still loving driving it........ had it for 6 months and still treat it like i only got it today, and i love people commenting on what a nice car it is

I'd love to get my headlamps upgraded to HID's though.

i love it. is it diesel?

Great pics and welcome. I've driven manual tranny cars in Ireland, New Zealand and Jamaica, and you get used to it, although the first couple of hours is so weird. I've actually managed to hit the door panel a couple of times while looking for the shift knob :D

There is another member from Sweden with a 6MT Petrol ("gas" for the guys on this side of the pond) (cryhard). The only relief we get here in the US and Canada is that we get the 2.3L engine, not the 2.0L one (naughty)...

Her is our 5....

[particlekeeper]my Mazda 5

After there was finally some sun today I cleaned my car and took some pictures:

That's what the car looked like for more than 2 years.

Then it was time for something new. I decided for 18" rims (ATS Taurus). Fits the silver color of the car pretty good with the shiny surface. For getting the right look the car was lowered 40mm with springs from H&R.

The width of 8,5" made it necessary to do some "steel plate" work to assure clearance of the rear wheels. Overall a good compromise between look and usability.

My neighbours car parked on the street as well today. Good comparison:

on the pictures above you can also see the clean look without the sidebars.

Finally took pics of the dark knight, lol. Haven't done much to it other than tint, paint stock wheels, paint calipers gold and add Mazda decals, lowered on progress springs, and painted the tailights. Like Rob would say, "Its murdered out, son."

Still have more plans for it so I'll update the progress, love my 5.

did you have to replace the whole end of exhaust line to have a double exhaust? i'd like to install one on my 5.
