I have the K&N typhoon cai on mine...it sounds cool and there is a little difference in hp...but honestly the money i spent on that was not worth it. A friend of mine built his cai out of PVC...ghetto I know but he had no cash. It actually worked really well. He was going to UTI at the time...

cool cool, yeah the turbo and manifold setup i am getting will be too close to run either stock fan, so i really appreciate the information cause its definitely in the 80's today so i have to have air year round haha

maybe im just being dumb...but doesn't this need a little more to mount and with the turbo sitting there it can't be plastic so im just wondering...oh and thanks dave, i'll watch for a pm.

the rims i have are motegi MR7 they are pretty scuffed up decause i bought the car as a stolen recovery and rebuilt it...they are painted with two stage mercedes silver but would look awesome with a little time and powder coating...i am located in central florida and just kinda looking...

Has anyone done or know anyone who has done an engine swap from the 2.0 to the turbo mazdaspeed 1.8? Or what the best turbo kit is for the 2.0?
