    Fog light bake?

    Anyone know how to detach the fog light lens from the body? I'm not talking about the plastic cover plate, that comes off easy. I mean the gray metal backing that the bulb seats into. Just tried some Betty Crocker action and no dice. Any suggestions?

    MP3 ECU/side airbag compatibility

    I posted this question in the P5 subforum and got no love. Maybe it's more appropriately asked here. What controls the side airbags? If it's the ECU, then swapping my P5's ECU for an MP3 unit will render the side airbags useless. Just wondering if they're separate systems.

    Side airbag/MP3 ECU compatibility

    The thought occurred to me that airbags may be controlled by the ECU, in which case my P5's side airbags may be rendered useless if I convert to an MP3 ECU. Are side airbags controlled by the ECU or is it a different system entirely?

    Gear whine with new shift lever

    Installed an MSP shift lever in my P5 and now I can hear transmission whine particularly in 5th. Did I overtorque the bolt that connects the base of the shift lever to the gear change control rod?

    19mm rear sway bar--fact or fiction?

    Some sources, such as the Protege FAQ and some posts on this forum, indicate that MP3s, or possibly some MP3s, came with a 19mm rear sway bar. Not the same as the 20mm MSP bar. Can any of you MP3 guys confirm this? Thanks for the help. :)
