Mazda gas gauge needles are notorious for being incredibly non-linear. The first half of the tank (needle-wise) srops slower than it should, and at just about 55-60%, it starts to nosedive. One would think they'd finally figure out how to get this right! Its a goo thing I track my mileage...

Are you quite sure? To my knowledge, all north american 6's are, indeeed, governed at 120 (in 5th gear ;) )
