Why do you feel the oil catch can was a waste of money? I don't have a catch can, but I thought it was a good idea to have one in a turbo car.

The atmospheric (bov). It would blow off prior to shift and then again during shift due to the dual-piston design and basically made the car undrivable. You either have to do a dual valve setup or move your MAF to the pressure side.

Forge BOV - herky, jerky city as it would blow off at very low boost (couldn't be bother to do a dual bov/bpv install). Fortunately got it cheap used and will bring it back into service when I relocate my MAF to the pressure side(once the warranty ends ;-)...

It is my understaning that you should reset the ECU after any mod because it is the fastest way to allow the car to "relearn" with the new addition to the system.

This is a BOV, so there is only an inlet. It blows off to atmosphere not recirculating like a BPV.

Yes, it is a great upgrade to do to the car. I just put the Kartboy shifter bushings on and if I had to choose between doing one or the other, I'd definately recommend putting in synthetic tranny fluid. The Kartboys don't really seem to make much of a difference to the overall shifting. Anyone...
