    Farewell to a Mazda 5

The interesting thing about tethering rear facing, is that you arent actually tethering to an anchor. you tether to a part of the car bolted down to the frame. The best place in the 5 is the base of the track that the seat in front of it slides on. You loop the D ring (that extra piece you...

    Farewell to a Mazda 5

Ohhh I love the Blue All-Star. I have 2 Cowmooflage Marathons (only using one right now), a Regent and a Parkway. We used a Babytrend Flexloc for our infant carrier... still an awesome seat with true side impace protection. DRHP- even when a seat has no visible damage, there can be stress...

    Farewell to a Mazda 5

Okay, I have to ask. What seats did you have? (Companion I am assuming.. and what else?) and do you have pics of the wrecked seats? I know about 40 techs that would love to see them. Also, what insurance company do you have. A lot of times, insurance companies will argue about replacing...

    seat belt extender

You should NEVER need a seatbelt extender during pregnancy. The belt is made to fit on the lap, under the belly and over the hip bones. To go over the stomach would cause serious damage. All carseats fit FABULOUSLY in the second row, no problems with the front seat. BTW- a simple Chux pad...

Actually, because of him being male, I HAVE heard the name. In addition to that, we have lived in Colorado Springs, as well. Can I ask how far along she was- my curiosity gets the best of me with a dr calling it fetal demise, however you saying there was a sac with no baby.

Blighted ovum is fairly common, however, think of the fun trying again if you want to. Sorry for your loss. Tracy<--- Doula and Childbirth Educator.

    Finally got it

They sure are, and I have to say, the Cow Marathon in the back is installed with the belt, and it was SIMPLE to install. I also have a rearfacing Marathon installed with latch and rear tether, and it was a cinch as well. edited to add- you MUST remove the headrests when using the Britax seats...

    Finally got it

I am beyond happy with it at this point. The kids still freakout over it. We have a habit of just going driving to do it, and my sons giggles and gets excited every time i put him in his seat.

    Finally got it

Thanks. The seats will be scotchguarded next week. But there is no eating or drinking in the carseats anyway ( i did NOT pay 750 bucks for those seats total to have them get messed up). The kids LOVE it. My daugher thinks it is the coolest thing ever. and hey- 40 degrees IS cold for southeast...
