Yeah same I used the wet towel but I would go over it again with a dry one to get any water off. That works pretty well and the swiffer things should work fine aswell.

Yeah I agree that it is weird having it backwards like that. It doesnt seem to bother me at all but I can see why it might bother others that are used to upshifting by pressing up and downshifting by pressing down. I can ask the car dealer where I got my mazda 3 from and then see what they say.

Hi! I found that the Mazda 3 responded instantly to my shift command in the manual mode on the automatic. It down shifts from 4th to 3rd if you dont but only when it is almost at a complete stop. It is alot of fun to play around with the manual mode! Hope this helps,
