Switch is good and i had the starter tested again and its good i checked the voltage to the starter in the start position and im getting 12 volts to the starter

I think its good i checked it whe i did the starter the first time but ill check it again later when i get home im off to a swap meet this morning

Seems a bit odd to me I have 260k+ on my protege and the cat is just fine. I'd take the cat off and take a look before buying anything

I'm looking for a fsde block with a crank pistons and rods. Or just the internals. I spun every rod bearing in mine, shattered one of my new pistons and bent a rod trying to put the new ones on. So if any one has all or some of these parts that'd be awesome. Im not oposed to buying a whole motor...

So im trying to rebuild my fs de to go back in my 2002 protege and i shattered a piston... so if any one is also rebuilding an fsde with new pistons could i possibly buy one of the old ones preferably with a rod still together but it doesnt really matter just let me know

well i managed to get 2 pistons on the rods but the other 2 got stuck half way ( i froze the pins and torched the rods) i got one pin pressed back out but when doing the other the piston shattered... if anyones got an extra preferably still on the rod new or used idc let me know ill buy it pay...

I also finished rebuilding the head ne valve seals and lapped the exhaust valves they were pitted pretty bad but came out good if i had a better camera id take pics but they just come out blurry on my phone
