Sweet, I've got 108k+ on mine. I've had her since birth in 02. Regular oil changes and i've only changed tires and brake pads. Still running great. No creaks, squeals or knocks. I should probably get a new timing belt soon. I'm running her 100 miles a day to and from work. Great 4 banger...

You're exactly the person I need to ask a few questions if ya dont mind. Since your boost mod, any major issues you'd like to mention? I.E. gas consumption, reliability, anything you wish you'd done better or not done?, how much boost are you running, any mods to engine internals, does it pass...

On Jan 20, 09 I was told the code is P0031 . ( if anybody has a clue, I'd love to hear it ) The first one was replaced in august of last year, but they never told me which one was replaced. All I have from that is the part no# : 547-147, which i've been trying to track down with no luck.

Holy crap!...just got off the phone with a Mazda dealer parts department...wait for it.......TWO HUNDRED TWENTY bucks for front and TWO HUNDRED TWENTY for rear O2 sensors. I think i'm in the wrong business... SMDH...

Thanks P~funk, should I get it RE-diagnosed to find out which sensor needs replacement or just go ahead and replace both?...I have NO clue which one was repaired 21k ago.

Great question, I had no clue there were 2 of them. The guy who checked it didnt specify. Now ya got me thinking its probably the one I didnt get repaired when this happened 7 months ago...Arrrghh. Thanks for looking out. I love these forums.

Hi everybody, my 02 P5 baby has finally become in need of a new O2 sensor, any and all info would be greatly appreciated. This is also the 2nd time i've had this issue come up. Had it replaced once already @ 82k last summer and here I am @ 103k just 7 months later with the same CEL on. Blew...
