    Post pics of your Mazda5

Haven't had the chance to do a proper photoshoot yet...but wanted to get these pics up there to show everyone my new Mazda5. I've had it since Feb. 2nd and I absolutely love it. Replacing the rear shocks next weekend...other than that it's perfect.

    Mazda 5 and Thule fairing

Yakima states the fairing size is 44". That's what I use for my 5 with the Yakima rack I have. I don't know what would be different if you're using a Thule rack by going with the 44" Thule fairing. My Yak fairing covers the distance from raingutter to raingutter.

    Roof rack

I just put on a Yakima rack (but not the one that they say is supposed to be for the 5 ;) ). I used the #11 landing pads (like the ones for the Mazda3, the CX7, 9, etc...) in the factory roof anchors that you use with the Mazda Thule stock rack, with 50" Yakima round bars, and control towers...

I know this is kind of an old thread; but thank God I'm not the only person to have these problems with my '07. I noticed the rear end feeling like it wanted to break loose when hitting bumps, bridge joints, and potholes on the highway. I'm also getting a rattling from the rear when going over...

    Do Mazda5 brakes last forever???

My front pads just got changed this week at 62,000 miles. Not sure if this is the first set changed or not. I just bought the 5 this past week. But hey; brakes are just one of those things you always budget for, so I didn't mind the expense.

:) Thanks guys for all the warm welcomes. I'd love to get pictures, but it's been record breaking snow fall here for the past week on and off; so I haven't been able to wash it, wax it, and really clean it up for a proper photo shoot...but rest assured I'll get it done! I picked up my 5 on...

My name is Dave, and I live in Richmond, VA. I'm picking up my 2007 Mazda5 Touring (Brilliant Black) on Tuesday evening in North Carolina. I'm excited about it. I sold my 2004 WRX Wagon as I needed more room for our 3 kids, and road trips were starting to become a bit cramped in the Subaru ;)...
