I have a 2010 Touring model, and I don't have any information on the climate control system showing up on the high-mounted information display. Is that a flaw with the car, or is that only used on higher-line models? Thanks.

It's not quite as bad as it sounds; it's a second car, and I purchased it last March.

I'm thinking of getting another car; nothing wrong with the Speed3, it's just time. I was offered 16,000 for a trade; car is a GT with 3400 miles and pristine condition. I'm thinking it should be worth 18,000 or so. Any thoughts? Thanks.

There is no way that conventional dino juice is better for our engines than synthetic. Synthetic shears less, has a lower pour point, generally better additive packages, etc. Whoever from Mazda wrote that e-mail is clueless. "5W30" has nothing whatsoever to do with dino v. syn.

No sales rep., just a very satisfied graduate of Skip Barber and Spring Mountain driving schools. BTW, driving this car well is a LOT different than driving heavy equipment. There is a reason a lot of people mention driving school. 8< ))

Go to a good driving school. The money you invest in yourself will pay dividends a lot faster than another upgrade.

Another approach, once you know what you want: I walked into my local Mazda dealer within a couple of days after they got the 2008.5 CWP MSP3 that I wanted (I knew by looking at their inventory site). I sat at the sales manager's desk, told him I would pay invoice for the car, and pick it up...

I've always found that Shell V-power is very good gas. Look at toptiergas.com for other brands that meet the higher standards. BTW, all gas is the same, but each company has a slightly different additive package, which is what makes the difference.
